Jolanta Johnsson on her painting:
*“The landscape, the richness of nature and its beauty have always inspired me. Nature is the stage upon which human life unfolds.

We see the landscape every day, the moment we open our eyes from sleep. I paint landscapes with people in mind. Nature exists objectively, but as an artist, I have the complete freedom of subjective interpretation. I allow my emotions to guide me in my artistic search. I look for order and logic in the landscape.”*

Her artwork is warm and distinctly feminine. The human figure and the surrounding beauty of nature are central themes in Jolanta Johnsson’s prints.
