In 1922, Stryjeńska returned to Slavic gods. The Fala publishing house published a series of sixteen bibliophile graphics. Two- or three-colour lithographs on Chinese paper were printed by Jan Wojnarski, and the drawings were made by Zofia Stryjeńska, the wife of Karol Stryjeński, the owner of the publishing house. From the very beginning, the graphics had an exclusive and collector’s character. This is evidenced not only by the Chinese paper, but also by the exceptionally low print run – the lithographs were printed in only twenty-five sets23. Each print was signed by the artist in pencil, which additionally enhanced their unique character. The very low print run meant that today the graphics from this series are quite rare. The portfolio marked with the number 10 is in the collections of the Jagiellonian Library24, and the complete set of graphics without the cover and the page with the text has been preserved in the collection of the National Library25; The capital’s National Museum also preserved the contents of one of the folders, but without the cover.
