(born 12 May 1930 in Warsaw, died 12 November 2011) — was a draftsman, illustrator, and cartoonist.
He graduated from the State High School of Theatre Technology and the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Gdańsk (currently the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk). His career began in 1952 with the publication of his works in the weekly magazine Szpilki. From 1954 to 1974, he was the graphic supervisor for the magazine. His drawings were published in numerous newspapers, and he also actively participated in thematic exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Apart from drawing, he was involved in creating illustrations, posters, and animated films, including Robocik in 1967 and Urlop in 1963. His drawings appeared in the satirical magazines Szpilki and Karuzela. His works were frequently displayed at exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
The artist employed a simplified yet extremely expressive line, effortlessly capturing the character of his subjects and offering humorous social commentary with lightness and precision. His works were predominantly black and white, without color, defined by strong contours and delicate fill-ins. He mainly drew in black ink.
