Skip to contentJan Broda, son of Joszko and Debora Broda, is a multidisciplinary artist involved in drawing, illustration, sculpture, painting, and graphic arts. He is also a recognized musician. Born on June 21, 2000, in Lublin, he has been immersed in the world of art since early childhood. He is a student and artistic mentee of Józef Wilkoń.
In 2012, Jan won first place in the national art competition “King Władysław II Jagiełło Triumphs at the Battle of Grunwald”. From a young age, he also earned top prizes in various school and regional art contests. His first professional exhibition of painting and sculpture was held in Lublin during the event “In the Garden of Talents” in 2013.
In 2021, his sculptures were featured in Sarmede, Italy, at the exhibition “Le immagini della fantasia 39”, organized by the Zavrel Foundation. His primary artistic passion is sculpture, though he is equally active in painting, drawing, illustration, and printmaking. He also leads art workshops in painting and sculpture.
Jan is deeply involved in music. From a young age, he has performed at numerous concerts both in Poland and internationally. He has participated in music recordings and led ethnic music workshops. He plays a variety of ethnic instruments, many of which he also crafts himself.
In 2022, his work was exhibited in Kazimierz Dolny and Lublin. In 2024, another solo show was held in Lublin, along with the unveiling of a lion sculpture created for the “Leon” School. In 2025, Jan participated in a sculpture symposium in Slovakia.
Both his drawings and sculptures have drawn significant attention for their expressive style and originality. Despite his young age, Jan Broda has already achieved a remarkable amount in the world of art. He is, without a doubt, a true talent worth watching.
