Andrzej Ryszard Heidrich (1928–2019) was an outstanding Polish graphic artist, designer, and illustrator, regarded as one of the most important figures in Polish applied graphic design of the twentieth and early twenty-first centuries. He was born on 7 October 1928 in Warsaw. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he specialized in graphic art and painting. He later remained affiliated with the Academy as a lecturer, exerting a significant influence on successive generations of graphic designers.

For the majority of his artistic career, he collaborated with the Polish Security Printing Works (Polska Wytwórnia Papierów Wartościowych), where he carried out projects of the highest responsibility and prestige. He died on 20 October 2019, leaving behind a body of work that has become a permanent part of the history of Polish visual culture.
