“HI-BRED 1958 MODEL” is an analog collage that explores the tension between man and the world of bureaucracy, technology and information. By juxtaposing newspaper fragments, diagrams and industrial symbols, The Artist is Dead creates a visual story about a man lost in the system. The work is reminiscent of the traditions of Dadaism and found art, resonating with questions of progress, control and identity. In the lower left corner: “HI-BRED 1958 MODEL” – a possible reference to technology, machines or the concept of “improved man” (hi-bred = high-bred/hybrid). This work is visually and conceptually complex. It uses the language of collage and found art, combining texts, illustrations and technical symbols to create a narrative about the tension between man, bureaucracy, technology and time. It is reminiscent of the style of artists such as Kurt Schwitters, Hannah Höch or Eduardo Paolozzi, who combine industrial forms with human experiences.
